Founding and Vision
Founded in 2008

Established in 2008, the Society of British Bangladeshi Solicitors (SBBS) was created to empower British Bangladeshi ethnic minority lawyers. It was inaugurated by the Supreme Court Chief Justice Lord Phillips and the Law Society President at London’s Law Society Hall.

Representation and Advocacy

SBBS is the leading voice for British Bangladeshi lawyers, ensuring their representation within the SRA, Law Society, and other key institutions. It advocates for professional growth and fair representation in the legal field.

Milestones and Achievements
2013-2014

Key milestones include the 2017 AGM with Law Society President Joe Egan and 2020 accolades from SRA Chair Anna Bradley. SBBS continues to make significant progress in supporting its members and advancing their interests.
